Christmas Morning at age 3

As you can see we had a very exciting Christmas Morning. The first thing we did was wish Jesus a Happy Birthday and then we jumped right into the presents from Santa Clause. Levi took about 6 seconds to open his barn. Too fast for me to get it on video. Here you can see him exclaiming to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa that Santa Clause actually came to our house. There was actually a possibility that he may not have considering Levis behavior the two days prior to Christmas day but I guess he was good enough the whole year to make it happen. Ainsley simply is astounded by her doll house and all the cute tiny furniture and people. They each have literally played silently for a total of around 4 hours in two days. It actually been quite nice. I think the doll house and farm are Mommy and Daddy's favorite gifts this year as well!

We all had a wonderful time but missed Grandpa Jack a great deal. He passed away last month from a formidable bout with cancer. Christmas day was also Jacks birthday so that made it a little more difficult. We were all together however and that helped everyone cope.

Winter has finally started and it's been very cold here lately. I wonder sometimes if I really do live in California. If it were not so dry I am sure that it would snow here overnight. The jet stream is keep moisture up in Oregon however. I have been forced to shroud my palms with lights and burlap to prevent the near disaster of losing them all. Too great an investment to let them die from frost.

This Holiday has been extra special. I have not had more fun at Christmas since I was child. Having Levi and Ainsley really helps make it wonderful and I do think that each year we will get more and more grand with our decorations in doors and out. I am looking forward to leaving a huge inpression on them as they grow up.

Merry Christmas to everyone. We hope you had a safe and joyous time and that this next year brings you further joy and prosperity.
