My first steps

OK. Just starting this blog for my family and friends. A good local place for everyone to come see what the West Coast Weller's are up to.

Please do not expect too much right away as it will take time for me to populate, considering we have the twins running us ragged these days.

We are getting ready for Christmas and having a good time with it. I have decided that I will be using the true name of the holiday season, Christmas, because I feel we are all getting a little too hung up on political correctness, when we can no longer call the holiday what it was really created for, the birth of Jesus. Even if you do not believe the scriptures you cannot deny that Jesus was born and lived. I was pushed across the line when I heard the Coca Cola, one of the most American international products, has decided to no longer use the term Christmas, due to the risk of offending other religions. Not sure if that is true yet but I will find out for sure. If it is I am rather disappointed and am glad I am a Pepsi drinker so that I do not have to give up my favorite soda, (thanks Jimmy!).

I created a really cool gingerbread house this year, my first try. Turned out pretty good but next years will be even better, now that I have a little experience.

On a down note we lost our good old friend Kobie dog after 15 years. I sat up and collected pictures, as many of you have already seen form the eamil I sent, and I realized just how well travelled he was. We have pictures of him in Mount Rushmore, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone and New York State. I'm sure gonna miss my dog.

Alright, enough of that.

Check back often for updates.
Cheers all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

-Steve
